Ashtyn will need your daily prayers.
Specific prayers of the day:
1. That she will not suffer horribly from MUCOSITIS: painful inflammation and ulceration of the mucous membranes lining the digestive tract, occurring anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract, and mouth. Oral mucositis is a extremely common and often debilitating complication of chemotherapy.
2. To enable her the energy to shower today which decreases likelihood of infection.
3. Calming stomach and desire to eat so she wont have to have a nasogastric tube tomorrow for feeding.
I know that every single prayer is heard and with faith God will show his hand daily. The thought that your one prayer won’t change anything is not from God. It will and has made a difference. Words can not express my gratitude for the prayers from Ashtyn’s Army.

We will be praying!!! I love you all more then you could ever know
Ashtyn,
While I haven’t met you, I have spent some time getting to know your Grandpa Lorin. We are praying for God’s healing power in your treatment and your strength in recovery. I have asked that our church in Wildwood, Missouri, pray for your complete healing through the power of Jesus Christ. I know he is with you and loving on you like your Mom at your bedside. God Bless you and your family. May his peace be with you all through this difficult time. Doug.
Ashtyn,
Mr. Eisenhart shared your story with our Bible study group. I too have been fighting cancer for the last 7 years. I pray that God’s grace will give you peace and calm as you go through your treatments. Jesus Christ’s healing touch will get you through this. I can’t wait to hear about all the exciting things that God has planned for you!
In Christ, Chuck.
Dear sweet Ashtyn and Suzanne and the whole Poulsen family,
I just heard this news today and came straight to these blogs to get the details. How my heart is aching for each of you! Ashtyn, I have always been so inspired by your sweet spirit and confidence and I know you are strong enough to make it through this. I feel so blessed to know you. I will be keeping up on the details and praying for you every single day. Heavenly Father is there. You’re mom is absolutely right. He will not ever leave you.
Please let me know how I can help in ANY way. We will be praying for your family. Keep smiling, your faith is amazing. 🙂
Love, Camille Merkley
Ashtyn,
Although we have never met, we do share a common bond in our belief in Jesus, and the power that he has to do ALL Things. He listens to all our prayers and provides us what we need. Although, this world is a noisy place, the power of Ashtyn’s Army’s voice breaks through! Although I personally do not know how you must feel, I have been touched closely with cancer within my family and friends! Remember, you are GOD’s child and perfect in his eyes! Stay strong and know that Jesus is beside you and holding you in his arms!
